Nope. Everyone that gets certified must buy a franchise. There are owner's franchises and substitutes franchises. All cost the same initial outlay of money.

Did you Google this for me? Wow! Thanks! I'm going to take tomorrow 'off' and see if my bod reacts better on Wednesday. I won't make any snap decisions.

Hello,
I found your blog through a Google search. I've been Jazzercising for 24 years; the first 12 as a student, then as an instructor and now as a center owner. If your instructor is encouraging you to go through workshop, it's because she sees your potential. Will it be challenging? Yes! However, you can see there are many, many reasons to become an instructor.
Go for it! Get off the floor and on the stage. The world looks very different when you are on stage.

Well, I certainly appreciate you taking the time to give me all those reasons to go through with it! I am just plain sore right now. I have such a hard time hopping as much as I need to. I feel like I'm not ready. I keep trying and trying. I have until April so I suppose practice makes perfect.
I thought you were one of my long-time friends! I really appreciate your comment! I guess you found me for a reason!
from one of your longtime friends....

Hey Marc! #3 I know you can do this and it is just now that your sore, you are pushing yourself to another level. But you will not hurt once your used to the harder level of work.... it won't take long to be prime. I think you should keep trying and persevere. #2 Are they prescribed routines or do you make them up? I would think you are pretty familiar with most of them because you have been doing them for so long. Where is the dread? #1Paperwork has always been easy for you... and whats money!?!?!?!?! this is why you became self employed.... to follow your dreams. I think you will love being an instructor. It is in your personality to have every one paying attention to you! The instructor who got all those "instructor reasons", she knows from experience, you need to keep pushing. So go on you can do it!!!!!

It seems strange that every instructor in a studio has her own franchise.

That seems like an awful lot to do for what you're wanting to do.
