Diary of the Dead was SO FUCKING AWFUL.  I was beyond disappointed.  I do not understand how it got so many positive reviews.  The acting was horrible and the dialogue was even worse.  Mel and I almost left to go for a drink partway through but decided to stick it out, although Mel did play PSP for the last 30 minutes or so.  Gah.

I fucking love So You Think You Can Dance.  It is a well known fact.  The audition rounds are sort of hit or miss because while you can see some supremely awesome shit you are also forced to sit through all the horrific "funny" auditions.  But for the most part it's nice to get to see some styles of dance/dancers that generally don't make it onto ( Read more... )

You know those nights where you go to pour yourself some Southern Comfort and then realize you're pouring maple syrup instead?  I'm having one of those nights.

My knitting now has the added bonus of taking me back in time, since I am watching the BBC adaptation of Bleak House and working by candlelight.
