I checked out "The Man Who Lives With Wolves" by Shaun Ellis today from the new books section of the library. I have been thinking about my friend Jay the past few days. Jay had a real, live wolf at his home that I once had the honor of meeting.

Jay taught me some great facts about actual wolf behavior from the work he had done with his uncle. We had promised to meet up sometime to really talk in depth about them, and our lives, and our experiences. But that day never came.

I am no great archivist when it comes to dates. I remember the over-all points of an event. As I responded to a friend's post I realized what I had done. I checked this book out in honor of him on Ash Wednesday-the anniversary of his passing. Jay, thanks. I'll pay close attention to what it says now. I hope you are well on the other side. Peace my friend.
