Apparently there's to be a talk on Siegfried Sassoon and his poetry at the Imperial War Museum tomorrow, which I only found out about an hour or so ago. So definitely too late to buy tickets in advance, bu-ut there should be tickets on the door (right?), and I can get to it easily, and I really, really do like Sassoon's poetry, and there are meant ( Read more... )

DOESN'T IT JUST? New poems, omg. The website says they're selling tickets on the door, but I don't know how popular a thing this is likely to be, so... Perhaps it'll be one of those informal affairs where they just keep cramming more chairs in as people turn up. Fingers crossed.

I did! And it was really interesting, even if one of the speakers had to drop out at the last minute.

Shall we meet at the IWM? The main entrance with the big guns? I think you have the longer journey, so you pick a time.
