I love her toooo! And yes, according to my headcanon, she's definitely gay, and I want to think they were hinting at that on the show too, what with the trouser-wearing and her being the only one of the three younger women not to be married (which might just be them showing that she's a Modern Woman, but I like to think it's more than that).

Ooh, a modern Medea *does* sound interesting - like the original's dark and shocking and all, but not that far out of the usual run of Greek myths, whereas that playing out in a modern setting... yeah, it sounds amazing.
