FYI, I just found out that when a voice post is lost in mid-call, it posts as a private-locked entry. (You can then decide to edit it and change the settings....) So LJ is smarter than my static-y cell phone. ;)

Transcription of the voicepost coming later, I'm sure after this has dropped off everybody's friends page. :)

Later, LV

COOL!
It's neat to get to hear what e-space friends sound like.
I may have to try doing a voice post sometime.
FISHIES!
I love fishies, I love catching fishies, I love eating fishies, just don't like cleaning and cooking fishies.
The river where I grew up fishing has virtually no fish left in it except some hardy carp and redhorse (yummy bar-b-qued), I miss the sun perch, bluegill and drum we used to catch.
And totally off track, but your icon is something that will entertain me for HOURS!

Voiceposts are fun and easy to make. The lousy part is transcribing them -- you don't have to, but I always feel like people will just skip it over without the transcription. It'd be good to hear your voice, too! I agree that it's fun to hear what people sound like, but the compression flattens my voice just a leetle.

I've been out just about every weekend fishing, and love it! I can't say cleaning is my favorite part, either. But Nikki sure won't do it! ;)

Why did the fish disappear? Gills and sunnies are hardy little rooters, usually.... If it was a die-out or fishing pressure, the stock can usually be built up again with a little persuasion.

And totally off track, thank you for the av comment! I've also got one in deep blue, too, now, as seen here. ;) This was actually an old one that I re-discovered. I've got to animate more of the LV avs. But thanks again! :D

I think the reason there are so few fish is pollution, we have two major chicken processing plants along the river that dump "small amounts of treated" runoff into the river. I won't swim or wade in it anymore, it's thick with leaches and my old favorites spots are stagnet and mossy.
Years ago we used to hone our reflexes by hand catching baby catfish, but I've seen two of those in the river in the last ten years.
Plus the water level has dropped about three feet.
