I've decided I'm going to go to the library with my.. hour and a half off between jobs. because I finished a confederacy last night so I can return it and check out something new.

what should I read?

you should read A Confederacy of Dunces by John Kennedy Toole.

A Confederacy of Dunces is a great book! I just read John Irving's "The Fourth Hand" it was pretty good, lots of sex.

I actually decided to go home and pass out for an hour in between jobs... so I'm going to the library today! I will certainly take a look at this fourth hand. thank you for the suggestion. :3

My mom keeps complaining that I should read "the classics" if I'm going to read everything, so instead of actually doing it, I'll pass that advice along! Otherwise, I generally enjoy all of the Douglas Adams books, High Fidelity (the book), and America the Book. Weird selection, I know, but whatever.

bah. the classics. who needs em? they're the sort of books that everyone speaks highly of, but nobody remembers to talk to at parties.

I think I might try some more philip roth. everyman was so gloriously depressing. but I have been wanting to read high fidelity... and I already own a citizen's guide to democracy inaction. oh man, i should see if they have I am America and so can you. I never even figured out what all of the Douglas Adams books are about. I'll check it out fo sho.

when are we going to watch the animal crossing movie? I'll bring my scooby doo air popper. it's a big sculpture of scooby's head and you put the kernels in his head and popcorn comes out of his mouth. hands down my most prized posession.
