so aaron and i purchased some nice rsvp cards to print ourselves. two packs, 50 to a pack, two cards to a sheet. i opened them up and the corners were bent on one pack. so i went to return them today and they no longer have those rsvp cards in white. great. luckily i did find a replacement. actually a lot cheaper (half the price), but they don't come two to a sheet, so i don't think they will be as easy to go through the printer. but here's hoping...aaron's dad has a fancy printer/copier/fax combo machine, so it should be able to do them. i also had to buy ink for the printer. aaron's dad was going to pick up ink, but wasn't able to. i'm hoping he will refund us that $30.
so then i go and have an address stamp printed and they don't have the one i want in black ink. so i have to pay like $5 more for a bigger size. then i wanted it in the font to match my invites, but they don't have that, but i went ahead and had them print it anyways with a different cursive font that matches my handwriting pretty well. The main difference is that the A for Aaron won't match the invites. but hopefully no one pays attention that closely.
then i open up my rsvp cards while i'm there, and one pack is messed up! the corners are bent! doesn't anyone check their product before they package them!?! so i go and exchange that for their last pack (that i opened up before i purchased).
this has just become such a headache. we are saving a bunch of money this way, but i feel like, is it worth it?? now i have to wait for aaron to get home from the gym so we can go over to his dad's and get them printed off.
my plan is to put the maps on the back of the card, but these cards are smaller than the ones i previously purchased, so i don't know if that's going to work. so we could have to buy MORE paper and do more printing later. UGGGHHH.
i guess it wouldn't be such a headache if it wasn't so last minute. but everything is last minute with aaron.
i need dinner.
