i am married!!!! our ceremony was at 4pm on saturday, so i have been a mrs. for over 24 hours now. we stayed at a hotel on saturday, and are home tonight before leaving tomorrow for the honeymoon (san diego!), so my internet addiction got the best of me, so here's a small update.

i will post allll about it after the honeymoon, but i already have pictures from my bridesmaid. so i will share a few of those, link you all to her photobucket if you want to see more, and share something really great about the day:

since my wedding was fairy tale themed, i had wanted a carriage ride after the reception, but it wasn't in the budget. those things aren't cheap! so i just accepted that i wasn't going to get one. when it was starting to get dark out, my groom pulled me aside and said eugune (our photographer) wanted to get some pictures of us with the sun setting. could we go outside for a minute? i walked outside and noticed a lot of guests were outside, and was like, "are all these people leaving without saying goodbye?" then aaron said to me, "i thought we could take some pictures in this:" and pointed to the road where a carriage with a white horse was parked waiting for us!!!! i was shocked.

then everyone who had still been inside to fool me, came outside. i tossed the bouquet from the carriage, got some pictures, and then we had a nice long carriage ride around the beautiful neighborhood our reception was in. it was sooo needed and nice. parts of the day really stressed me out and did not go as planned: our cake was horrid looking, for one. the time alone with my groom was priceless, and what i had wanted, but had given up hope that it would happen. we got so many honks, and people even following us around on their bicycles and scooters and taking our picture. when the streets were empty, it was nice and romantic and we smooched in the carriage and talked, and when people were honking at us and following us, it was fun because it was like we were famous. my groom had it booked for months, and his family all pitched in to pay for it as their wedding present to it. it was perfect.

i am sooo happy to be married now. i hope this is not tmi: i waited till i was married to have sex, and i have to say, it was well worth the wait, and has not at all been as painful or awkward as my friends warned me it would be. so if any of you girls out there are waiting, trust me, it's worth it!

ok. onto what you really want, the pictures!

we did a sand ceremony:

we're really not demons, i swear:

my surprise:

here is the link to my friend's photobucket if you want to try and sift through it. they are really not the best pics, but of course i had to look at them as soon as she posted.
