Five Things Are Late About Me

Mar 17, 2009 22:40

I realize that I'm kind of late to the Five Things Meme Party, but outsidetheparty kindly offered the following Five Things to Know About Me weeks ago, and I'm just getting around to tackling them. It's been...a little busy.

Philadelphia
Skin
Cooking
Motherhood
Spoo

Interested? ( Read on. )

I simply enjoy spending time with him more when that isn't the only thing I do.

This makes a LOT of sense to me. And I hope that someday I find out what it's like. (I will. Eventually.)

Also, I think it's hilarious that you got teary about Spoo the day after giving birth. I mean, it's possible to get teary about just about anything the day after giving birth, but that you were sad for Spoo's life changing -- you're kind of adorable. I'm just saying.

And I'd be happy to have 5 things. (We'll just lob this meme back and forth between our houses, shall we?)

Jewelry and Beading
Novels
Italian cuisine
Cities
Country (as in pastoral, not as in nation)

Keeping all available fingers crossed for a happy resolution to the daycare question.

I'd love five things from you!

Your elaborations on your own five are lovely, and really give me more insight into you.

Also, I am SO glad you guys will be nearby soon. I am looking forward to playing games and cooking with you, to babysitting Jack (if you so desire), playing with Spoo, and probably spending time on Nantucket with you from time to time. Made of win. :)

Suggestions for places to live totally depend on what you are looking for. What are your wants/needs in terms of space, surroundings, atmosphere? Do you want to drive to work, or take the T?

Lovely reading. And, yay, Boston! I don't think I had heard the final decision of where you were going. Obviously, W-town would have been even better, but Boston is great! :D
