So our band, the Skyline Quintet, had our first gig on April 3rd, and it was AWESOME!! I got to wear my pretty new dress which was so much fun, and we sounded great and had an awesome time. Our audition was AWESOME! We got to do all the tunes we had prepared, plus "My Romance", after the general manager requested "a ballad that could show my pipes". Ah, the wondrous comparisons of the fabulous Andrea Olmstead. I heard she's getting fired, but that could very well just be a product of the rumor mill here at the lovely BoCo.
