Symbols
Throughout the thousand years of a long dead planet’s history that the ship downloaded into them, there was one constant. The symbol. The ‘S’ enclosed within an irregular sided pentagon.
It was emblazoned on robes, banners, and ships. Star, cross and crescent all rolled into one. It had carried as much weight, power and significance on Krypton as those symbols continued to carry on Earth.
It was the missing piece of the uniform.
What better way for Clark to honour his heritage than by wearing the beloved symbol upon his chest when he punished the wicked and protected the weak?
