Hi,

I'm not stalking you (or not very much - I found you through shpicnic, which I went to yesterday). I'm Head of Programme for fanfic at Nine Worlds. Are you still coming/thinking about it? It'd be great to see you.

We're working on ways to help participants navigate the programme, including producing track-specific versions (with recommendations for other relevant items). But for big cons, I usually find the printed programme and a highlighter pen is the way to go :)

Let me know if you're coming, we're hoping for a Sherlock meet. OTOH, the whole fanfic track could be one big Sherlock meet :)

I'm coming - ticket bought, hotel paid for, holiday booked :) Are you Pink Hair Lady? I saw you at the stand at LFCC as well, if you are. I go to that with a six page colour-coded spreadsheet XD I've done smaller hotel cons than 9 worlds will be, and a highlighter helps there, yes. Seeing the draft programme helped for this one. Track specific programmes will be good, but, otherwise, it'll just mean even more of a military operation than usual ;) I saw the fanfic/Sherlock/9 Worlds meet up that's happening on August 4. I might not have time to go to that, but I will make time for a Sherlock meet up at the con itself, so see you soon :)

Hi Laura,

this is Kate (the much larger of the two people with long plaits) from the picnic. I'm one of the Heads of Fanfic Programme. Ludi, overall Head of Programme, is the one with pink hair :)

We're looking forward to seeing you at the con. Highlighters at the ready!

Kate

Hi Kate

Just scanning my LJ scrapbook for art I could bring to decorate the fanfic room. I'm assuming family friendly means avoid sex/nudity/drugs/strong language/gore. Slash in general and non-explicit violence OK? A few of my popular at the time Sherlock and Whoniverse pics have people using guns, that's all, but no blood.

Laura x
