So I just got back yesterday from the American Physical Society Conference in Baltimore. It was my very first business trip and it went well :-)

I had meetings with authors and I spent some time manning the IoP Publishing booth in the exhibition hall. It was a really good experience. There were 7000 people at the conference and it's the largest ( Read more... )

Went to the Institute of Physics Awards Dinner with Martin Evans on Thursday night at the Savoy in London and I had a really good time :-D Martin and I managed to find a whole load of things to talk about the whole night.
