OMG!!! I had the best time ever last night!!! I'd never been to a BR parade before, and you know what it really didn't suck!! It reminds me alot of the local parade here in New Roads on Tue, except for it is at night (which in my opinion is a lot more fun)! I went over to Zack's house with Steph, Rachel, and Virginia (his family is SO nice!!). The food was most AWESOME! After driving about 2 blocks from his house (really it was kinda stupid), we parked in the church lot. Yeah, we rode in the 4Runner which I refuse to give back to my parentals ;). Anyways, we sat out and like chatted it up with oldies music (steph and I totally were seperated at birth, lol) and sat for i'd say about 1-2 1/2 hours awaiting the parade. Steph's D-ville buddy Jeanne (i hope I spelt that right) and I had a really cool convo, and like she is the best!! After the parade (which was a tad shorter than i suspected) passed we loaded back into the 4Runner and headed back to Zack's, where we played this PS2 game (that i can't remember the name). It was something to the effect of a "dance groove" game with the floor mat and stuff. (I thought to myself while we played how great this would be to test how sober someone was). Well, seeing that we WERE all sober, I believe that only Zack really knew what he was doing. On my first try, i got a D!!! I didn't fail. Can I tell you I have Rhythym...LMAO!!! Anyway, after about 30 or so minutes of that, Steph and them had to leave...and I didn't want to impose by staying later (poor zack he was stuck with his 4 year old cousin...YIKES!!!). So, I decided to head on to the Improv thing at PERKS (my watch said 8:50). I LOATHE BATON ROUGE POLICE SQUAD!! They refused to allow traffic to cross @ Acadian...so they sent us down this road that had no outlets until we finally reached standford (30 min later...ugh). It took me about an hour to make the trip from Lee to Perks...which is about a mile and 1/2 or so. UGHH. And by the time I came up standford...they had opened acadian...UGHHHHHHH. Yeah, i soon got over that after reaching Perks 1 hour late. It was fantabulous...so going again...and ON TIME!! Yeah, then...It took me a total of like 25 minutes to get back home...that's a record ;). Anyways...I mosied into the house at about 11:30 or so...then managed to stay up watching a DVD on the ol' laptop. Bedtime you ask? Um...3:00 hehe. Yeah, I didn't wake up til like 1:00 today...hehehe. What can I say...
