What? That's amazing! Though, unfortunately, not surprising in the least. Oh, fans. You find the same type everywhere. Aero's don't play, either.
Imagine if that had appeared on hitzforums, right? The backlash. The scandal. They'd never stand for it.
I, for one, believe that no publicity is bad publicity. That's why America is so crazy for Britney. And Paris. And Lindsay. And Brangie babies.
But, you know, I think Hanson fans feed off of that sort of stuff. Like the constant denial and struggle of things. Maybe they're mostly masochists? Just think of the People interview last year and how all the fans were upset that "the band was suddenly compromising their privacy."
I just saw Jason Castro's Homecoming in Rockwall, TX (if you haven't figured that out yet. *G*) and remeber thinking much the same things that you do. Obviously Jason is by no stretch of the imagination at the "Steve Tyler" caliber but yeah...crazy fans. I guess Rockapella shows have spoiled me. I expected that once we found our place at the amphitheater, others would respect the boundaries. Not true. Young screaming, giggling girls did not care if we were there first. They just pushed their way ahead to stand in the front row. And making matter worse was the girl who insisted on holding up a huge sign every 20 seconds, hoping Jason would see her, fall in love instantly, get down on one knee and ask her to marry him on the spot. I have always hated those who come to shows to have the performer see THEM...not vice versa. Grrr!!! So...can we kill them?
