Why on earth would anyone judge you for that, Laura? If they do, they don't deserve to be on your friends list.

If people want to judge you and not give you support in the decisions you make, then cut them loose! They aren't real friends. Life is simply about making choices and learning from them. Follow your heart! If your heart says to kiss this boy and hold his hand then DO IT!
