Stargate Atlantis - 4x19 - Kindred II
This episode was awesome. CARSON! Yay Carson! ATHOSIANS! Yay Athosians!
And is it me or is Teyla the hottest pregnant woman ever? Rachel looks incredible. I've really liked having Teyla back properly in the last couple of episodes. I appreciate that Rachel wanted to have a lighter schedule through her pregnancy and I love that TPTB let her have it, I wouldn't have it any other way. But I've missed her and it's been good to have so much Teyla these past couple of weeks.
I thought the first scene between Carson and Rodney was so very well done. Poor Rodney having to be the bearer of such bad news, and poor Carson for having to hear it. They're both so cute. Bless them lots!
And AWWWWWWW, RODNEY! My best friend just came back from the dead. I'm not going to quibble over a few telameres. ♥
I laughed so much when Carson was getting kitted out for their first misson and John helped him with his pack.

Oh, John. I love how you can't talk about stuff. I love that this is your way of saying I missed you.
Rodney is a lean mean fighting machine now, with his P-90 and his actually being able to hit people. He was there and firing like a pro. This makes me both happy and sad. Happy because he obviously spent a lot of time training and it's paid off, and because he can defend himself better now. And he probably spent a whole hell of a lot of time with John while training. What? Bless his little cottons. But also sad because... he's a scientist. He's not a soldier. For John and for Ronon, it's a job, it's what they do. It's clinical, it's cold. I don't imagine Rodney being able to see it in the same way. They're people with lives that he's shooting at. I really loved that he stayed to protect his teammates instead of chasing Carson; Carson had gone away from the shooting, he knew his teammates were in danger and they needed him to draw some of the fire occasionally, and he stayed.
OH CARSON! Not again! I teared up at the end when he was saying goodbye to everyone. And we had to say goodbye to him all over again. I love that he wrote to his mum. And I love that he called Sam Samantha. I loved his little chat with John about finding Teyla. And I love that Ronon HUGGED HIM! ♥ I love Ronon so much. And Rodney, trying to be so brave for his friend. But oh how he looked like he just needed a great big hug! God, I wanted to hug both of them so much.
This was a totally awesome episode and it's going to be one hell of a season finale next week.
