way back when, the main reason i was looking forward to driving was so i could see you. i've passed my phase of hope, but i'm gonna come get you anyway. march 5th. 2 weeks til i'm mobile. 2 weeks til my life can revolve around whatever i choose it to, and not what i'm stuck with. i'll call the first weekend i'm out driving. when you tell me you're busy i'll call back the next day, and every day after that until your number has been forgotten and i can't call anymore. you may find it annoying, but i'll just smile even wider.

I dont know why, but everytime i look up at the sky and see the stars i think of you kids. I think its because i saw such gorgeous stars when i was there, and it seems to me that the stars are even more beautiful when im not home, maybe it's the enjoyment of seeing them with people that are far away or maybe..i dunno why... I feel like the sky is a way of connecting people. we are all looking at the same sky...only... its not. Maybe one day we will be able to look at that same gorgeous sky all together..and not have to miss. I only wish i had enough time to look at the stars. and everytime i do, i think about a huge rocking chair and a blankie and people i love...just wishing that i had all of that with me underneath the gorgeous sky. one day..maybe...just one day
