Did you call your pediatrician about getting a Diflucan prescription?

No, we've been doing great with the Nystatin and Lotrimin, that is until this morning when now it's BACK on Ol' Righty, where it started in the first place! Grrrrrr... I think I might know where it's lurking - I've never replaced the bottle brush. FOR SURE it's in there! I boil everything for 20 minutes every other day, but in between I've been scrubbing all the pump parts and bottles with that old yeastie brush! Squish's doctor was great about giving him the nystatin without him having any symptoms. I suppose I'll need to go back in to that horrible place in Woodbury to get Diflucan for myself, or more Nystatin.

I was thinking about trying the 1-day yeast infection cream like you suggested, but someone said most of the treatments are pills, and having never purchased a yeast infection treatment before, I have no idea what I'd be looking for. Definitely will be stopping by the store this evening to look at those and new bottle brushes!

Well, that someone was largely incorrect. The one-day treatments that are pills are prescription-only and it's called Diflucan, and it comes in generic for $2.50 per pill. I recommend calling the pediatrician and not your regular doctor to get the prescription. Pediatricians often prescribe for both mother and child at the same time, according to my rock star pediatrician.

As for the cooter cream, Target carries it, and they carry both name brand and generic. It's a one-day cream in onea those goofy cylinder applicators. Just take a tiny bit and rub it in well on Ol'Righty (where my owies are too) and do it for two or three days. Voila. :) It's about twelve bucks for the tube.
