California Trip Part 6 - The Abandoned House

So after we drove the 17-mile drive with the old people, we went back to the house in Pacific Grove and LEAH came over!!! She drove up from LA to see us! And she was itching for a little taste of old times, and the abandoned house on the corner was just the thing for that!

I don't know which I find cooler/creepier, the stained glass window, the old stove, or the weird red stairs. Very nice find!

I kinda wanted to steal those tacky 70's diner lamps, but there's no way I'd get them back on the plane! ;)

I have a lamp like that, Barb hates it and says it reminds her of something you might find at Shakeys pizza.

I think it was the only stove there, but they might have taken the other one if it was working.

If that was a local place I'd be watching it very carefully. That stove is collectible and there's probably other junk inside worth something. Those renaissance windows are recently made but some of that glass looks originally old. At any rate it looks like someone who belonged to the SCA or something lived there, hehehe...

Oh and did you see the ORBS in pics 3, 4 & 18?? Oh and is that ectoplasmic residue in the fireplace?? (LOL)

I got the impression it was most recently used as like a meeting place for some SCA types. But I don't know!

I don't see any orbs! But yes, that is clearly ectoplasm in the fireplace!

LOL, come ON, I'm only making fun of those people (rolls eyes) who see ORBS everywhere!! Like 'look at the orbs in pic 4' and I go back and HUH there's NOTHING THERE!

Okay okay pet peeve of mine. Anyways, it's time to go off to work...bleh, Saturday overtime... :-P

OH! OK, I thought maybe there were really orbs there... LOL! I get that too, I sat there and STARED at one of my pics for the longest time cause someone saw something, but I never saw a damn thing!
