All the military buildings I've ever been in ARE dull inside. The only cool thing is the stuff sometimes left inside. Like at the NIKE site, there was one building with a bunch of beautiful oak drawing tables. Inexplicably there were ALSO some strange large rubber hoses all over on the floor in that building. The rubber made the building STINK. Not Sarles stink, mind you, but stinky enough!!

The condition of these buildings make Ft Snelling's buildings look pretty good, or at least not so bad, LOL...

Oh and those tanks are part of the hot-water heating system, BTW...

That's for hot water heating?? Does this mean I have one of THOSE in my BASEMENT??? I hate basementy things. I suppose mine is all wrapped in asbestos too! =D

The guy I went to North Dakota with that one time went to Fort Ord a few years ago and says they've REALLY deteriorated since then. Mostly vandalism from the looks of things.

Ew rubber hoses! That sounds disturbing...

Very cool on the outside. And the ones of the stuff outside on the ground are really cool. And bizarre. :D
