I think crop circles could be any of the above. It's undoubtable that some (many? most?) are made by people, but if we can prove that even one isn't made by humans, that's where it gets interesting.
I find National Geographic more enigmatic than crop circles or Bigfoot, frankly.
Hi...I have a question: In the photo essay you did of Kuroki ND several years ago, (I grew up there in the late 50's and until 1966), was the red pump picture taken across the street from the house and elevator? If you did, our house used to be there, and we pumped water from that each day for our drinking water....thanks for the great pictures. I played with the Betty B. in that big house in your pictures, and my dad ran the grain elevator...it was a wonderful life...Deanna White
Hi Deanna! Sorry it took me so long to respond, I never log into this site anymore and haven't in years! But yes, you are correct that the red pump was in front of the house, could have been across the street though there was no longer any street there. It wasn't super close to the existing house though, so didn't appear to be that house's pump.
