Well, this is turning out to be a better job hunting year than last year.  It's the end of May and I have an interview already.  Granted, it is supposed to be on Friday at 12:30, and I am taking half of my current school on a field trip that day.  I will have to see if I can re-schedule.

How long does it usually take to be contacted after you've submitted your resume and stuff?

It depends on the board. All applications have a closing date, and if they want to meet with you, I think they call during the week after that date. That way they've had time to review all of the applications.
