This totally made me cry. It really did. Today was such a sad day, my heart just hurt. I ended up spending the afternoon in bed before getting up and sending out emails, hitting message boards, anything. It just kills me so much. I could go off on a rant but you know what I will say.

I did see something interesting on Bill Maher a few weeks back. One of the commentators, in response to gay marriage, said that people who oppose civil rights movements (women's sufferage, black's right to vote, interracial marriage) always end up failing. It gives me hope.
