My kids can't go to normal summer camps. No, they do things like chess camp. Or, as in Samuel's case this year, music camp. He spent a week at Florida State University's choral camp. At the end there were two days worth of concerts to watch. I'll just boil that down to this one song. It was the big finale on Friday night.

 Yes, as usual, I am behind. But, at the end of May, we went to Samuel's Latin awards dinner. One of the awards he got was for his score on the National Latin Exam.

 Today was Cat's end of year Kindergarten show. They did songs from the farm. There are too many to put all of them up, but I will give you a sampling.

They started out with Old MacDonald, but that one is a bit long to put here. They did Bingo and 5 Little Ducks.

 End of the year shows and award ceremonies are taking up all my time. But it does give me stuff to post here. :)

Samuel had his end of the year chorus show. I do apologise for the poor quality and blurry moments. I had to stand off to the side most of the way back in the auditorium.

Samuel had to do a project for his English final. It was to summarize a book in some way. His book was called Exposure, a take off on Othello. He could have written a song or made a poster or a book or designed costumes for it. Or pretty much anything. He chose this:

Build a Bear is running a contest where one sings the song, Talk About Love, makes a video of it, and uploads it. They will pick the best ten, then the public narrows it down to the top five. The top five will go to Hollywood to perform it live and the winner has the song recorded. Elizabeth decided to do one.
