aww come on! i have alot of very close friends that are virgos and they are great people! mother theresa was a virgo!..however leos have a tendency to be self-centered..and not respect authority..being the parent, id rather have a kid thats gonna mind what i say! i heard they are only good kids b/c they can take care of themselves..dont like to be babied ya know..i know they got there good points but if i had my choice id rather him be a virgo.....fidel castro was a leo..
and i guess a big part of it is b/c his dad is a leo, so i guess im scared of him turning out to be a little clone of him..which would for sure drive me nuts!

Contractions/Labor isn't so bad. You'll do it and then it'll be over and eventually you won't even really remember how it felt anyway.

*Thinking Virgo*

P.S. I added you, I hope that's alright.

I had a "spinal" - which is like an epidural but it makes your body more numb and it can (sometimes - not with me) make it harder to push. I had an epidural cathetar put in as well but I never ended up needing it - as I am very sensitive to drugs. A little goes a long way.
I did it without drugs for many hours - I don't remember how many. But they had to give me Petosin, which is a drug that makes you go into labor more...because I wasn't progressing fast enough. So Petosin (sp??) makes contractions worse, because it's speeding it all up, so at about 6cm dialated I got the shot.

It wasn't so bad. I don't think that natural is bad at all but neither is doing drugs. You feel it either way, but with drugs, I felt, you can really focus more on the birth of your baby than the pain you're dealing with. I've not done it natural though so I don't know about that experience.

What are you going to name le baby?

yea ive heard that usually when they give u petocin they will usually automatically give u drugs cause it makes the contractions so much worse..but im glad to hear u made it to 6cm before the shot, gives me hope! i just read too much and they say that if u can wait til u are at least 5 cm to get drugs that its much better for both u and the baby, so im hoping ill make it that far...i like to think i have a pretty high tolerence for pain so we'll see ( ... )
