soooOOOOOoo.....things are going pretty great...olyver is 6 weeks old now..and the biggest thing..is he smiled at me for the first time last saturday!! ha that was one of the greatest moments of my life..cause apparently im "insecure" my brother michael says...see until very recently, olyver never really looked at my face much..i would try to talk

yeah i was gonna say what your mom said...about him already knowing who you are. babies are very instinctual and just your scent and energy lets him know its you that is holding him. i understand though...i'm sure there are lots of insecure emotions after having a baby. that doesn't mean you are insecure though...if only men had to go through hormonal changes like women do. anywhos...he is still adorable and i'm glad to hear you are loving mommyhood!

yea im sure hes known who i am the whole time but im glad now he pays more attention to me..just this past week he has changed so much and he really stares at me a long time and like responds to my voice instead of just ignoring me. hes in my lap right now..and hes SOOOOOO beautiful! ha seriously its like every time im away from him, even if its just a few minutes, i like, must forget how cute he is..cause then when i look at him again im like OMG ur SO adorable! ha must be a mom thing..or just that i have the cutest baby on the planet.
