I was once turned down for a job at Spencer's gifts bc apparently I wasn't qualified to sell fake poo and Jack Daniel's tshirts. Kinda ironic with the amount of JD I've consumed over the years. Was turned down to work for a Hot Topic, by a lovely girl with 23 piercings in her face. Turned down once by a Red fucking Lobster after two interviews, a standardized test, and a reference from a waitress who currently worked there. In fact, the only job I was ever able to maintain involved night hours at a garbage dump. I know I had a point when I started...oh, right. The people who do the hiring for jobs are dumbasses. They don't want people who are intelligent or have any shot at upward mobility. They want some pissant who will bow down to them for 40 years or so. Trust me, luv. Long run-you're better off. One day something really cool will come along. I promise you, Laur :-). Until then have faith, if not in anyone or anything else, but in how wonderful and strong you really are.

Everything will eventually work out! They probably just meant that your resume objective didn't match the job, so they didn't want to put you somewhere if it's not what you're looking for. You'll find somewhere that will make you happy :)
