I'm leading this auction. Yay, cheap drawers, maybe! I'm also quite attracted to this, although it's relatively expensive. What do you think? I still have to a) measure the spaces in my room that need filling, and b) bug housemates and/or work people who have cars about possibly helping to transport crap. Hm.

Both look super-shiny! I'd definitely vote "yes" on the desk-thing. Then again, I tend to like desk-things.

Well, I might end up staying as long as two years . . . I do know what you mean. I went ahead and bid, though, and if I'm outbid, so be it. I've looked at plastic, but it's not nearly so pretty and . . . homey. Naturally, I'll keep you posted!
