Every time I make an entry or a comment, I look at my icons to see which might be appropriate. A lot of times I just leave my default one, cos it's so beautiful. I don't know what this is a picture of (looks like Niagra Falls, but there are a lot of waterfalls in the world) and those birds look like dragons. Dad's been home for a month now, and it hasn't been as bad as I feared. He sleeps all night, and he's eating pretty well, and has even gained back a few pounds.

On Friday night, the 17th, that is, David Letter mentioned Presidents' Day, and showed a picture of Mount Rushmore with each of the presidents wearing a party hat.

We got Dad's endoscopy moved up; it was two Thursdays ago, actually. The biopsy results will take a couple of weeks, but the doctor is pretty confident that he doesn't have cancer. He also said he doesn't think the mass in his stomach (which is actually very small) is causing his trouble. Instead, he found several ulcers in his esophagus. So he ( Read more... )
