I'm not sure if I "remember" past lives as much as I occasionally stumble upon things or people or places that are far more familiar than they have any right to be. Sometimes I will undertake a completely new task to find that my hands "remember" the motions, that I know things about what I'm doing that I don't remember consciously learning, etc. And no, I don't tell people about that, any more than I tell people that I changed my eye color when I was 12 because I wanted grey eyes. It's one of those things to be privately marvelled at.

(The one thing I am almost positive of, though, is that, at least in my most recent past lives, I was male. Being female is a very dense mystery to me, and comes not at all naturally.)

I know what you mean. I still crave cigarettes, though I'm not a smoker. And a big part of the reason I haven't gotten my driver's license is that it just feels *weird* to be in a car with power steering and good shock absorption where I can't feel what the vehicle is doing.
