Today I went on an adventure.

Having an iphone has enabled me to pick a direction and start driving. So that's what I did today, finding myself burdened with a few free hours. I had no plan and no idea where I wanted to go. I actually thought I might head south, or maybe find a beach. But as I pulled to the light at the entrance of my apartment complex, I put my left turn

Damn, those are some gorgeous photos. However, because I just came inside from 22-degree Minnesota weather (before windchill, of course, though at least it's not snowing anymore), my reaction wasn't "that looks murdery" but "that looks GREEN AND WARM TAKE ME THERE!!! OMG PALM TREES!!!"

Still, that looks like a successful adventure. Also, I love that you have a stormtrooper on your dashboard.

I love your pictures, especially the sky pics. I know you went right to the Murder Ballads (or maybe Deliverance) but I kept thinking to myself, "We can't stop here, this is bat country."

See, this is what started me walking the coast -- the ability to go pretty much anywhere and not worry about getting lost. (I took care of the battery issue with the solar power.) It's just a lot of fun.

Man, I can't believe how well those sky photos turned out. I was disappointed at the time because what I saw on the camera wasn't nearly as amazing as what I was looking at, but I took those babies into photoshop and suddenly it was like HELLO, IF YOU REACH INTO YOUR COMPUTER YOU CAN FEEL THE AIR.

There aren't that many places in Orlando where you can just walk like that (safely) but there are trails near my apartment I might try biking.
