Summary: 16 truths about Team Ibiki.
1. Their team is very odd. All are considered brilliant. The rivalry is between Hana and Itachi. Hana fills the position of both the loud one and the girl although neither of her teammates will imply that this makes her less capable than them after the dynamic marking incident.
2. When Hana is eleven, she begins to smell fear.
3. Hana did not attempt to feed her dogs Akimichi soldier pills when she was nine, really. Her mother doesn't manage to prove it anyway. (She owes Itachi five training sessions for hiding the evidence.)
4. Kabuto has beaten Itachi. He's quite proud of this. (The sharingan doesn't copy chakra control after all.)
5. Itachi may actually like his teammates. (The jury's still out on that one.) Officially, Hana is too loud and Kabuto too polite.
(He gained his sharingan defending them from a pair of Rain chunin when he was eight.)
6. Ibiki thinks that all of them would make excellent spies, even Hana if her clan markings were covered.
7. Their team is reformed for the first time in seven years after the Sand-Sound invasion. They are assigned to investigate possible traitors. The fact that they're all different ranks doesn't seem to matter. Kabuto's still a genin, Hana's a chunin, Ibiki's a tokubetsu jounin and Itachi's an ANBU captain.
8. They worked in pairs occasionally over the years. Normally it was Hana and Kabuto. They were considered one of the best search and rescue teams.
9. Ibiki and Kabuto probably are the only ones not surprised by Hana stepping down as heir in order to marry Itachi.
10. Itachi is pretty enough for the both of them but he still catches Hana looking in the mirror wistfully sometimes.
11. Hana coaches Kabuto through his proposal to Shizune and doesn't say a word about it (except to Itachi but that's okay).
12. They do not speak of their attempts to matchmake Ibiki. He occasionally brings it up just to watch them cringe. A personal favourite is the one that involved Kurenai, squirrels and shuriken.
13. Apparently, Ibiki was assigned a team of geniuses. Some days, he can even believe that.
What he actually got was an Inuzuka even more brash than her mother, an Uchiha with only two facial expressions and the adopted son of the chief medic who has turned politeness into an art form.

15. Shizune isn't sure whether she wants to be in-laws with Itachi and Hana. Kabuto doesn't seem to mind though.
16. No one is surprised when Yakushi Shinji proposes to Uchiha Akane. They do fear any potential children though.
