I left for class this morning with not a whole lot of gas. Halfway to class, I was leaving a stop sign, and fuel sloshed in my tank, causing fuel starvation. I made it to class with that happening probably 4 other times. I'm not sure if I'll make it to a gas station before I run out after class. Wish me luck!

What's fuel starvation?

Last time I experienced this I was doing a 10-110 run up a freeway onramp in the STi. Perfect gear shifts and a lead foot . . . well, with half a tank of fuel I still hit fuel-cut at around 4000rpm. The car was pulling so hard it sloshed all the fuel to the back of the tank and pinned it there long enough for the pump to momentarily miss some. Once I figured out what happened I never underestimated that car again. Dammit. . . now I miss it again!!!!

Mine used to do that, as well as what you just described. I replaced the fuel pump and both problems went away. ::feels a bit ashamed at admitting that he's run his car out of gas more than once::

I've had the right hand turn thing happen a couple times, and then consistently on every run at an autocross, through a big right hand sweeper. Ugh, that sucked.
