Wow, it seems like it's been ages since I've been on here! I haven't been avoiding everyone this time, though. It's just that the weather has been beautiful here recently (it's probably going to end up as our only couple of weeks of summer, because Britain sucks like that) so I've been outside as much as possible. What a beautiful girl! My daughter is 18 and my son is 14, so I feel your teenager pain. The eldest goes off to university in the fall (which isn't far from home, being as it's where I work, but still). It's like... where did the time go, and how did they get so adult and beautiful and smart and wonderful and I made that? Like how did I make that?

Now go enjoy that sun! We get to have some this week and I am SO EXCITED to emerge from my basement office and enjoy it once it appears!

Like how did I make that? YES, THAT'S IT!! Ugh, they just grow so fast, and now suddenly I have this beautiful, intelligent, wonderful person in my house, and I made that, whaaaat?? It's like a constant emotional whirlpool of pride and amazement and literal fucking terror, and that overwhelming feeling just never stops, does it?

Oh God, I know, I am the literal worst when it comes to updating my GR! I shall have to carve out some time to do that though, because I really have found a few gems recently! (as well as the terrible ones that should come with a crap!writing warning, lol!)

Isn't she gorgeous? I have no idea how I managed that tbh, because she looks absolutely nothing like me, haha!

Isn't she? I mean sure, usually she kinda looks like a bedraggled zombie rodent, because she's 16 and spends all of her time in her room being grumpy about life. But every so often, she emerges squinting into the sunlight, and she looks like that. I'd probably be jealous if she wasn't my baby tbh ;)
