high wind really freaks us out now after a couple years ago, remnants of one of hurricanes made it through here and a tree fell on our house just a few feet from our bed while we were sleeping. luckily, it didn't go all the way through the roof (thank goodness for sturdy houses), but it scared us enough that we slept in the basement for the next few nights!
