Well, I finally saw a bear...on the way home from an eye appointment I looked over and there was a black bear...beautiful...small too, not grown....and I yelled for Jim to stop....by the time we made a u-turn and came back it was gone

woohoo! getting over the bear fear.... i dunno.... i can handle them in town where there's other people and cars and cover to get to if neccessary... but i still am having a hard time getting out there to hike all alone. yikes... maybe one of these days.

Oh I have no intention of doing any hiking lol....and if I did I am sure I would take pepper spray or something to at least feel a little protected...

I wouldn't want to be out there and find a bear. They are nice to look at behind bars, or stuffed.
