Is anyone else out there watching the HBO miniseries "John Adams" with Paul Giamatti?   I Tivo'ed parts 1 and 2 and it's SO good.  I went out and ordered the David McCullough book too.

I watched it On Demand yesterday and really liked it. How many parts are there going to be, do you know?

Seven, I think. I'm hoping that I can catch up reading the book before they all air. (But, I scrolled through HBO's listings and I couldn't find Part Three airing anytime soon...)

Part 3 airs on Sunday, I believe. It said at the end of Part 2 but I cannot remember.

My m-i-l has the book (though I haven't read it). I wasn't too impressed on Sunday night -- my mind elsewhere? *shrugs* I don't know -- but I watched Parts 1 and 2 tonight, and I'm surprisingly interested!!
