Sometimes I feel like I'm no good at anything. I'll never have a good job that pays well, I'll never be doing something I REALLY want to do. I'll be at the mercy of paying bills and debt for the rest of my life. Sometimes I wonder if college is really worth it. :-\

Grandma is still not better. She's having some kind of shock procedure tomorrow morning because her heart is not beating correctly. :-( Also, my Uncle (dad's brother) was put in the hospital this morning and had bypass surgery. He's in the same hospital as grandma. He failed his stress test too. So it looks that arteriosclerosis runs in the family ( Read more... ) -

Heard from grandpa today....I'm so glad he calls me. no one else in my family does. So grandma isn't coming out of ICU for awhile. They can't seem to get her heart rate regulated correctly. I'm so worried about her. Everyone tells me she's fine, but how can she be fine, when her heart can't pump on its own correctly? Something about that fluid ( Read more... ) -

I decided Monday March 20 is the day! The day I'm going to REALLY lose the 10 lbs I keep saying I'm going to. I've got my game plan, I've got some healthy foods, i've got my work out plan...its going to work this time. This time I'm going to be dedicated. This time it will happen! Grandma is back in ICU today. There was a sudden drop in blood pressure last night, and they had to move her to ICU to monitor her more. The dr. said its just one bump in the road, but that she's ok and no reason to worry. They said her fluid balance, and electrolyte balances were off, and that was what probably caused the drop in bp. Update
Just talked to grandma on the phone. She sounded weak, tired, out of breath...its broke my heart. She's doing ok today. Last night there was something wrong with her heart though. I didn't want to ask too many questions, because I could tell it was a struggle for her to talk. But something like an abnormal heart beat, she said "it was going bizzerk ( Read more... ) -

thank you everyone for the sweet prayers for my grandma. After her triple bypass surgery yesterday, she is doing extremely well. She is eating, sitting up, and even watching her "stories". I love her so much, and I am so blessed to have such an amazing grandmother.
