I was trying to turn over a new leaf and not just post to LJ to complain about something, but oh, well ( Read more... )

I picked the first option, but then I'm a mean lady and you're probably much much nicer than me *g* But yeah, it makes you slightly vengeful at the end of a long day. *big hugs & sympathy*

I went with option A. He fetched his own beer in. I'm keeping B in reserve in case he slacks off the next time. I'll be like the Lady of the Lake, granting beer wishes to happy campers.

I don't stay mad for too long. It just evaporates away.

I picked the third option because I've been married almost 27 years and I know how most men are. *g*

If he's like most husbands, if you asked him why he didn't help you unload, he'll say you didn't ask. You'll say that you told him about the groceries and he'll agree but say that he assumed if you needed/wanted help you'd ask.

Because to a guy, explaining you had a ton of groceries outside to be brought in, isn't the same as asking for help unloading.

Not all guys, not all husbands, but for the most part, this is their logic. *g*

Option C influenced me the most. I went with Option A, but probably I would have brought it in if he didn't because I'm sure he'd ask to drink mine. He doesn't drive so it's more difficult for him to buy it himself. I did directly ask him to help me, no hinting around, so he can't claim he just didn't understand what I wanted. but yeah, I know that happens a lot with communication.

Ah, well. I've been married 34 years.

I have made my vote, for option 1. Hope that the rain (and your wrists) have settled. :-)

yes to both, for now, but I'm going to wear my braces to bed. I left them at my daughter's house on Monday and just got them back tonight. I went with option A, but daydreamed about option B.

Still raining off and on,

I'm a big fan of option B. But I think I'm just as likely to announce that unless he goes and gets the beer out of the car it'll be next to a free beer sign in the morning. ::hugs::

Lucky for him, I told him there was beer in the car and if he wanted it he'd better go get it because I wasn't.

You're probably wondering where the next chapter of Promise in the Days Ahead is. Well, I was hacked and all my document files encrypted by cyber pirates. The S.O.B's even left me ransom notes sprinkled all over my files. I declined to send them 500 dollars, and so I've been rewriting what I lost, which has been since April eleventh. I've almost finished with the lost chapters for my Stargate Universe story, and then I'll be catching back up on the Avengers one. I did have some of the chapters in a rough draft on a flashdrive, so I'm not totally starting over. I need to rewrite the chapters that weren't on there before I forget what I did, and then I'll polish up the next chapter and send it to you.

Thanks for being patient.

Oh no! I'm so sorry to hear that. We've been preparing at work for something like that. That just sucks. Well let me know if there's anything I can do to help, if only just to be someone to rant at.

::big hugs::
