and as usual, your to-do list makes me feel like I need to go lie down. Repeatedly and lengthily. :-))
I thought it was me who owed you an email, btw. So, obviously, dinna fash yoursel' -- which is my puir attempt at Scottish dialect, all thanks to some Monarch of the Glen DVDs I watched at my sister's. Gorgeous, funny, angsty men in kilts (well, sometimes in kilts, other times in jeans -- I like men in jeans, too, though) -- watching that show was such a hardship. :-)
So last Sunday, after a fairly nice day, one of our dogs went on a killing spree and took out 5 of Carie and Roue's chickens. Uh. We've spent the following week *Me* scrambling up and down steep hills running electric wire to make one of those electronic fences. Today we finished up the loop, and buried the line where it crossed the driveway and road and in the yard and our neighbor's yard. All the other chores got put on standby. But now we just have to hook up the electronic parts, which is Rog's part. So, that's how my chore list ended. I did plant the flowers. And I thought of you when I had the tv on while doing some computer stuff and there was a Hawaii 5-0 marathon on and Steve and Danny had a very long, very long hug.
You know, I meant to reply to this weeks ago and got myself all wound up in other stuff instead -- but life has (amazingly and wonderfully) relented just bit, even if only likely for just a bit, so I'm trying to catch up some.
Ouch, chicken-killer dog! I hope the electronic fence is working (especially after all the work of installing it).
Hope you eventually managed more of your list. :-) (And Steve and Danny in a long hug -- oh, the glory days. Even if I could watch the eps online these days, I don't think I'd do it; TPTB and I don't agree about some of the things that I've read about the show during the past couple of seasons. It was nice to have a brief fling in H50 Land, though, and I still think Steve is one of my favorite characters ever -- at least in the first several seasons -- and that he and Danny rock together...)
