Wow that's a lot of perfect characters in one series. How do they do et? D: I mean shouldn't one at least be more perfect than the other? wth v.v who thought this shit up and okayed it for drawing?

Switch some names around and this post could be about practically any fandom -_- What's awful is that so often, a good, three-dimensional character will be less well-received than a Sue. I mean, take Sakura for example.

Isn't it, though? -_- At least, though, in some fandoms, the Sues aren't so...terrible. But I digress. And yeah, Sakura (and other characters with, I dunno, a personality) are often hated by the fans. It's a shame, really.

Maybe people love simple characters because it makes it easier to project onto/live vicariously through them :/

Very, very, very true statement right there. Well-rounded characters are often disliked because people can see their own flaws in them (or something like that).
