18. If you could change one thing about canon, what would it be?
Hm. There are probably a few more if I really thought about it, but there were three that leapt to mind immediately. If I "ruled" the HP-verse:
1) Pettigrew would have had a better reason for his disloyalty than what we saw in canon.
2) George would have done the wise thing and run off with Luna instead of Angelina.
3) We would have gotten to see the Weasley cousin, Mafalda, in some way - I understand that she couldn't really fulfill the need that JKR had for that character, and that Rita Skeeter was a far better fit, but I would have loved to know more about what that character could have been.
There are other things I could list, I'm sure, but this is what came to my mind first and in general, I think that I would change very little. I feel that pretty much everything JKR did, even the things that were sad or infuriating, were done for a dramatic/thematic reason, and changing them would have changed too much about the infrastructure of the story - so I would leave them be. :D
