Okay, I need help remembering how things work in cold places. I'm all packed (i think) and I leave tonight, but there are some things I'm still confused about. 1. do people wear sunglasses in buffalo in the winter? I was thinking that like if you're driving and there's snow and it reflects the sun and stuff like that you might need to wear ( Read more... )

Okay, one, stop rubbing in the whole "Hawaii" thing. Two, it has actually been unseasonably warm here in Rochester, although I cannot speak for Buffalo. As usual, I would suggest a VERY wide range of clothing, temperature-wise.

It's finals week and people are out without jackets, so I second the wide range of clothing thing. I suggest hoodies and jeans. They are pretty much the perfect clothing.

Since I'm an expect on all things cold weather..listen to my fashion tips.

1..as soon as you land go the nearest hunting store and pick up a good 11inch rambo style knife
2..Go out and kill a grizzly bear with your bear hands
3..skin it and use its skin for a fashionable coat jacket while also leaving fur for a sporty tank top for the summer.
4..Use the bear feet to create some cool shoes.

If you listen to all these fashion tips you will be the coolest of cool in NY!

1.) Yes, you will want sunglasses, especially since it's been like 55 and sunny for the last few days.

2.) Your Hawaii going out stuff is fine as long as you either wear pants or pantyhose with a skirt. Just bringing one will work because you can either wear it more than once if you go out more than once or you can buy a new one on your many shopping expoditions.

3.) You'll want not sneakers for midnight mass and possibly other things. I'd bring some black or brown shoes that match stuff
