I'm really reluctant to post these at all. But I wanted to hear myself as if I were the listener. I noticed that I don't sound the same in my head that I do on a recording and how other people hear me. Man, do I sound awful. Especially since I haven't perfected these songs yet. But I was impatient and curious

People never sound the same as they think they do in their own minds. You should've seen how surprised I was the first time I recorded my voice and then listened to it again. Haha. Anyways, I grabbed these, and I'll listen to them again, more closely, when I'm more awake. Then I'll make my "I know I'm only a guitarist, but I sing too! ;-;" comments. XDDD;;;

Ahahaha, I wish I could make "I know i'm only a vocalist, but I play guitar too" comments for you. But I can't right now, unfortunately. Anyway, constructive criticism is welcome, just remember I don't know these songs as well as I know Cage or Ain't Afraid to Die. So of course they are much weaker in every area. They'll be perfect, as you say about your guitar playing, after i've given the songs a few more runs. I just couldn't wait to be perfect though. Wanted to see how I was coming along. I think I may send these to Jon later just because. *shrug*

Well, the only one I picked up was Garden because it's the only one I've heard the original song to and my final verdict...

If you made mistakes, you were good at hiding them. Your vocal quality suits the song very well. You have a strong, bold voice that I think would carry very far, but I have never heard you in person so I can't be sure. Your voice is also very good at emoting, which is a great selling point. >:D I can't wait to see you at ACen next year.

I think, with more time and practice, you'll go pretty damn far because you're talented, dedicated, and let it never be said that you aren't creative. :D Save me a cookie when you're famous.
