Why are people so stupid? Why has nothing changed in this world?

Now...i'm afraid to go to Japan. Surely, I won't be attacked in the open. But my feelings are so mixed. I'm so confused. I hate people. Please, please read this. It's important to me.

Bullshit. Taiwanese people HATE the Japanese because the Japanese came, raped their women, took over their schools, and just about forced the Taiwanese to be Japanese. That's why my grandmothers can speak Chinese and how I'm a fourth Japanese myself. A Japanese soldier raped my grandmother. So Mr. Ko can take it and SHOVE IT UP HIS ASS.

YOU HEAR THAT, MR. KOCKWHORE? SHOVE IT UP YOUR ASS!!!

>.>;; Forgive my language, but that's just... a whole lot of BS.

Don't worry, though. It's mostly the middle aged generation that's holding the grudges. After all, Gackt goes touring in HK and Korea. :D So there's yet hope!

^___^ Yes, I realize it probably is the older generation that supports this ridiculous grudge. The article was just very disturbing when I read it the first time. My dad is an almost religious reader of The New York Times, lol. I'm glad he came across this article and sent it to me. I'm a little more calm now. I also remembered that there is a manhwa that is fictional but based on facts about some of the Japanese wartime atrocities...and the research the creators did was helped along by some students in Japan who were very against the editing Junior High text books deal. So I was happy remembering that. I think we'll be okay in the days ahead.

Just...these old dudes who are in seats of high power...they really make me mad. XDDD;;;

xD Old dudes in seats of power seem to try to shaft us young people no matter where we are. Stupid old dudes. I wish artery clogging and swift but painful death upon them all.

WTF...this is the most fucked up article I've ever read. What the hell is wrong with these people...!??! I surely hope -_- a good majority of them aren't like that. I mean I've always expected bias against myself if I ever do go to that country but this makes it sound like we're all gonna be lynched if we stepped foot in Japan! and yea its obvious they wanna look white like every other damn generalized asian in the asian public not only Japan. So the other countries are struggling and their governments aren't white-washed to believing they have to be the superior race as twisted as Hitler's own thoughts...WWII is the most brutal and disgusting thing that I've been lectured about since a kid since a good chunk of my family died from it and my dad lived through that war as a kid...I can't believe they're pointing fingers when everyone in the whole world knew they were insanely twisted back then ( ... )

I was shocked myself when I saw this article in my e-mail. My dad sent this to me. We both love The New York Times. I appreciate the information the paper gets out to the public. I will never turn anti-Japanese or anti-any other culture for that matter because it would only fuel this stupid grudge that really needs to end already. But still...I couldn't help my initial feelings. It's just...so...stupid. How is it that grown men can be so immature. I'd read about Unit 731 when I was in high school. It was my own choice after I read an intriguing manhwa based on the Japanese wartime atrocities. Really horrible things happened. And still, the older generation acts this way. It's ridiculous and cowardly. I'm sure things would be alright if we took a trip to Japan. But just knowing that these tensions still exist... well maybe we should still go in an act of defiance to the grudge. And to show them that it's a really sad and pathetic thing. I think I could do that.
