Had our first official band practise this morning. And I have to say that everything went much better than I could ever hope. Love is Dead is sounding really great even without a bass player. That's because Jer is amazing at keyboard. With his awesome skills he was able to alter his part, filling in a lot of the bassline and solo, so that the song

I could practise at the noraebang...it's just I don't like to pay $25 an hour. Plus the lady who works there thinks i'm not very Korean, so I can't haggle the price with her like I usually do at Korean establishments. XDDD!!! I practise at home in the basement. I have a stereo set up there with a mic. So when i'm not with the band, i've got that available to me. ^__^V!!!

I really like Forever Love...but I don't think my voice can hold out the entire song. That's why I suggested Say Anything. That song doesn't wear out my voice. XDDD;;;

Ah~ We were awesome~! Well, for our first practice anyway. XDDD;;; Though yeah, we might just wanna talk to Mike about that... I was worried from the very beginning cuz the first time I met with him to practice before, he was already talking about improvising stuff... I just didn't say anything cuz ya know, he's much better at the guitar-playing-nes than I am... <.<;;; So yeah. *worryworry* I would just practice tons(which I will be doing anyway) and steal all the solos, but then I'd feel bad... ~.~;;

OMG Let's do Say Anything! *loves* There're already tabs for that too~ I just, have to look over it again. XDDD;;;

Ah, well, I don't really mind too much. Afterall I was the one who kept saying we should toss it, but just so you know, Ko said that she'd smack you. Or something like that. I can't remember. XDDD;;; But if you do... let's do RED...[em] instead. <.< That song is way too much fun to play~

But...I don't think anyone in the band likes that song. I actually don't like it that much myself. I only put it on the track list because it's a Dir en Grey classic so I thought fans would appreciate it. And there's no doubt, i'm sure they would. But we're the ones performing after all and we might as well do what we want. I thought I could tough it out for the fans. Guess I was wrong. XDDD;;;

Alright, i'm going to write an e-mail later about tossing Garden and adding Say Anything. I like RED...[em] but I think we should add a song from a different band. And whatever song we add, we should consider that we have a keyboardist. Let's make good use of him.

Ah yes, Mike...XDDD!!! We'll have to keep an eye on that one. hahaha. I think the guitar solo in Love is Dead is a bit off. Maybe i'm going crazy though, we were pretty loud so I might not have heard correctly.

I'm definitely bringing ear plugs next time. *dies*

Lol~ Well I'm not sure she actually would, but she joked about it. XDDD;;; But well, we both like Cage and Ain't Afraid to Die, so as long as we keep those, I'm happy. Now if you tossed those, I might have to smack you. But of course, I'm not worried, so I think we're fine. XDDD

Ah, I suppose you're right. Say Anything will be good to add. As for keyboard... Hmm... I'll go look and see if any other songs have keys parts. The only thing I can think about right now, is Janne Da Arc... o.0;;

Eh, yeah, it's not just you. He tried to cover the bass solo part, and that was off too. Not just the guitar solo. I should know. I've been trying to play that song for months. Even before I met you. I'll be practicing this week, to see if I can play those fast enough. If I can, next week I'll offer to try it out. And for the future, we might just wanna talk to him about all that...

heyheyheyheyyyyyy.. I was just joking about the smacking part. I'm just of the opinion that Garden is a kickass song ¬.¬ maybe I'll learn to play it for myself someday 8D

hehe. It's good to see that you made it back home okay!!! And that i'm not going to get smacked for suggesting the band toss Garden. XDDD;;; Because it looks like the band has decided we won't cover Garden after all. Jer wants to cover an X Japan song though. And Mike apparently has some favorite Pierrot songs. So I don't think there will be any problems replacing Garden and maybe even completing the set list. *thumbs up*

Garden is a fine song...I guess I just can't see myself performing it. lol. When you do learn to play it in the future, I want to hear!!!
