Today I purchased, at a used bookstore, a copy of the Origin of Species, because I'm an elitist intellectual snob and it seemed like the kind of thing I should have. On the first blank page at the front, someone wrote the following:

Why have I not seen that video before??? It's killing me; I've just watched it three times in a row.
Oh man, what is on Christopher Hitchens' sweatband- is it "I ♥ moonshine"? Hahahaha, it's fair because he totally is an alcoholic. And they gave PZ an octopus on his hat! Oh god, it's all too hilarious.

Oh man the little head wiggle he does at the end when he stretches the bill in front of the camera...priceless. Whoever made this is a genius. They have the MTV/hiphop bravado down pat, and they are obviously familiar with the big names in "New Atheism" (or whatever people are calling it) because the whole video is full of in-jokes and pokes fun at those guys for their actual flaws, not the imagined straw-man flaws that their detractors often talk about. It's critical but affectionate at the same time. AND HILARIOUS. Darwin's silly dancing alone is worth the price of admission.
