I was emailed by Gayle of Gargoyle Statuary about a "Tarot" show at Art Not Terminal gallery. She said she told the curator about me, etc, & knew I had done several large pieces of tarot cards

I'm going to be very blunt here - a few years ago, I participated in a couple "shows" at Art Not Terminal. I paid the $20 and hung a couple small pieces for a month. The opening was pot luck, and most of the artists already knew each other, and didn't want to socialize with someone new... Not only do you pay to hang your art, it's a co-op, and you are required to do some kind of "service" for the gallery - clean up, or staffing the gallery for an afternoon. I did the latter, and ...well, it was not a pleasant experience. Some creepy guy came in and wouldn't leave... This was a Saturday, too, and very few actual customers came in. I would guess they pay for the space from the money made by charging artists to show. I didn't see anything, even a postcard, sell. The whole experience left a sour taste in my mouth

I'm doing well (check out my lj for more info), and performing most Tuesdays at Neighbors. Work is, well, work, and the love life is dreeeeeeemy *swoons*

Also, I remember you had a show at Mercury a couple years ago--how did that work out for a venue?
